Music quiz night · free
A music quiz for your venue, ready in 2 minutes
The music plays on the TV, your guests answer on their phones, you run the game. No app, no sign-up, free.
How it works
The TV plays
Open a music quiz on the TV or projector: it plays the music on the venue's speakers and shows the rounds, the answers and the leaderboard.
You run it from your phone
Start the game, move to the next track, reveal the answer: the control room fits in your pocket, you stay with your guests.
Guests answer
They scan the QR code on the screen and answer on their phone. No app, no sign-up, no sound on the phones.
Who is it for?
- Bars and pubs
- Cafés and restaurants
- Birthdays and house parties
- Company nights and clubs
Video games, cartoons, films, songs: pick one of the players' music quizzes, or create a custom universe (an artist, a decade, your night's theme).
What you need
- A TV or projector with a browser (or a computer plugged into it)
- A speaker
- Your phone to run the game
That's all: your guests use their own phones.
Frequently asked questions
How many players can join?
From two to two thousand. Everyone joins the room by scanning the QR code shown on the screen, with just a nickname.
How long does a game last?
You pick 3 to 10 rounds of 10 to 30 seconds. The host moves to the next track whenever they like: allow 5 to 15 minutes, then start a new game with other tracks.
Do players need an account or an app?
No. Players answer from their phone's browser, nothing to install, no sign-up. An account is only needed to create your own universe.
Does it cost anything?
No, party rooms are free, for the host and the players alike.
Why don't the phones play the music?
So everyone hears the same clip at the same time: the music plays once, on the venue's speakers, and phones are only used to answer.
Can we pick the quiz's theme?
Yes: video games, cartoons, films, songs… pick an existing music quiz or create a custom universe for the night (an artist, a decade, your event's theme).
Ready for tonight?
Open a music quiz on the TV, ☰ menu then “Music quiz night”: the QR code shows up, the room can play.
