What is Metal Popdle?

Metal Popdle is a free music quiz in the browser, inspired by Heardle: you hear 1 s of a metal track and guess the artist, with longer clips if you need them. Every day brings a new daily challenge, the same for everyone, plus a 30-level quest and unlimited free play.

How the Metal Popdle daily challenge works

Every day brings one new track, the same for every player. You hear 1 s of it and have 3 tries to find the artist (or its title, for a bonus); each miss or skip unlocks a longer clip (1 s, 4 s and 8 s).

Win to grow your streak, then share your result without spoiling the answer. Past days can be replayed from the calendar, but they do not count toward stats or the streak.
